I would recommend the place. Had 1 day in Colchester, spending my time here lovely. I had breakfast in the café. Very central location close to good restaurants nearby, the centre of town and the railway station, it was in a nice area. Also, a publicly owned museum was just a short distance away.

Plenty of options, fabulous food. Neat and recently refurbished unit with the essentials, very very helpful staff.

My one night in Colchester was really lovely. The staff were responsive and provided additional tips. The room was beautifully decorated and had convenient amenities like an electric kettle and refrigerator. The location is magnificent, just a few steps away from Colchester Town Hall. Plus, it's within walking distance to supermarkets and shops.

This place boasts a very central location near the Colchester War Memorial, offering well-sized and recently refurbished rooms equipped with essential amenities like a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator.

We had a lovely stay at Cuckoo Rooms. The interior was beautifully decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was modern and the shower was amazing. We also appreciated the welcome basket and the option to watch Netflix on the TV. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we received a nice card for our anniversary. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.

The only slight downsides were the thin walls, which allowed us to hear other guests, but the provided ear plugs helped with that. Additionally, the approach to the accommodation through a dark alleyway was not the most pleasant experience, but once inside, everything was great.

We had the double room which was neat and newly remodelled with a very comfy bed. The location turned out to be particularly good, right by the center as well as the centre of the city.

All in all, it was brilliant place for travelling to Colchester. The hotel had a very central location and it was a 4-6 minute walking distance from an orthodox church. And the area was lovely, next to shops as well as good restaurants. The staff that checked us in was friendly and excellent.
